YES. I've finished part 2 of my diet, and therefore I'm back to normal eating. I can't really say I've noticed a difference in weight, but then that's not the reason I did it, so I'm happy enough. Can't see an improvement in my skin either, but then that wasn't promised so no disappointments there. What I am impressed with though, is my will power. I seriously didn't think I'd manage to stick to the scheme, but surprisingly, I did! I'm also pleased with what I've learnt cooking-wise. Every meal featured in this post is home-made! All that I've actually missed is the freedom that eating normally is for me.
So apologies if you're not a major foodie like me, but I'm including a lot of photos of food which, quite frankly, I still get seriously excited just looking at. If you're curious, here's the diet I followed - and if you try it and get past the first day, kudos.

Steamed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, celery and spinach) on brown rice.

Stewed apples covered in cinnamon on brown rice
Raw vegetable salad with watercress, garlic, walnuts and a peanut oil dressing
Jacket potato topped with steamed spinach, garlic, nutmeg and olive oil

Fruit salad (apples, kiwis, grapes, raspberries and blueberries)
Spinach and carrot salad
Jacket potato topped with green beans and watercress

Blueberry and apple smoothie (recipe linked at top of page)

And what would a diet be without a celebratory slap-up meal the day after? Eating this probably undid all the work from the previous week, but who cares, it was damn tasty.
Spinach and cottage cheese quiche, and mint potato salad
Scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, and chocolate cake
Finished off by an ice cold glass of Fosters and a wedge of lemon... job well done
